SOMET is a four-piece band making loud, emotional, catchy alt rock that sits somewhere between shoegaze and indie, pulling influence from acts like Nothing and Weezer. Their playlist/scene tags describe them as "emo shoegaze," fitting into the current wave of heavier, grunge-inflected Canadian shoegaze alongside bands like Deer Fang.

They've released singles including "Sorry" and "Back to You" (September 2025), and have been steadily building a live footprint around Montreal — including shows at Turbo Haüs and Toscadura.
