Fronted by founding member/singer-songwriter Sam Bielanski, PONY plays glittery, hook-laden grunge pop / power pop. Their new record, Clearly Cursed, is their third full-length, following TV Baby and Velveteen, and marks over a decade together as a band. On this latest album they worked with producer Alex Gamble, pushing their sound further and drawing on influences like The Cure, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Caroline Polachek alongside their signature fuzzy, technicolor power-pop. They've built a solid touring resume, playing alongside acts like Jimmy Eat World, Drug Church, Militarie Gun, Pool Kids, and MSPAINT.
