LUSTER DUST

Luster Dust is the project of Daniel Wilson, a dreamy shoegaze / dream pop / bedroom pop act who writes, records, and mixes all of his own material — very much a solo, homemade approach to the genre. The project debuted with the self-titled Luster Dust in April 2021, followed by the Sunflower EP (2021), Surrender (2022), Little Death (2023), and most recently the album Angel Breath (February 2024).

Angel Breath leans into dream pop and gaze with a melancholic, sad edge, and has drawn praise for being fuzzy, pretty, and pleasant, with production that highlights each instrument while letting the vocals shine. More recently, Luster Dust has been looking to expand from a solo bedroom project into a full band, seeking a second guitarist and drummer to round out the live lineup.
